What the fuck is wrong with Pakistan and India?:mad::confused:

Excuse me, did someone neglect to mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki to these people? It’s not like anyone can say “well, we aren’t sure what these things can do in real life”. What part of tens of millions of dead are they having trouble with? This is not something I care to see even on TV (and you just know CNN is salivating to show death and destruction LIVE! on TV…)

Well, if WWII is too far in the past maybe they remember Chernobyl? Granted, it didn’t involve a BOOM! but it was still a fucking disaster.

Oh, wait, maybe it’s OK because, after all, it’s Kashmir, not actually Pakistan or India that’s most likely to get bombed? Yes, they both claim Kashmir, but the purpose of the claim seems more having something to shoot people over than anyone giving a damn about the people who live there. :rolleyes: Of course, fallout has the irritating tendency to spread beyond the point of origin.

Really, there’s this urge to print a bazillion leaflets containing explicit photos and accounts of what even small nuclear weapons can do to people and cities and drop them over the whole fucking area with THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU! printed on the front of each one.

Maybe the Hindus don’t care about incineration since they find cremation perfectly acceptable, but it will sure suck to be stuck in the reincarnation cycle when there’s nothing left to reincarnate as but cockroaches and rats.

And the Muslims, who believe bodies should be buried within 24 hours - guess what, boys, there’s no way in hell anything but the tiniest fraction of those bodies will be buried even within a month. They’ll lie on the ground and rot, get eaten by vermin… except the ones in the really “hot” areas, which might not rot for a bit if the place is sufficiently sterilized by fallout.

Don’t imagine the folks left alive - either on a termporary or long-term basis - will be having much fun, either.

In fact, the only people who will be happy will be the likes of Al Quaeda and the Taliban, who seem to delight in the deaths of innocents and the destruction of civilizations. In fact, the fuckheads are probably doing everything they can to destablize the region and start a war.

Well, that’s my pissy rant. I expect tomorrow I’ll get up and check the news to see whether Kashmir is still mountains or if it has morphed into radioactive craters. And, oh yes, check to see if India and Pakistan are in the same bucket.

The Tom Clancy in me sees a way we could be done with Bin Laden’s bunch and blame India in the process.

I have friends with family in India, and they certainly aren’t really keen for nuclear winter, either.

Yeah, well, but if India and Pakistan find themselves in an after-the-Bomb scenario, you know their next diplomatic crisis will be a dispute over who rules Bartertown.

There won’t be a nuclear war. If either side pushed a button, they would themselves be annihilated. Neither Musharraf nor Vajpayee is insane enough to commit genocide on their own countries.
