In Sunnyvale, silicon valley’s heart a new food place has opened up. I mention it because it is an Indian Patisserie, both very French and very Indian, and to my mind very unique.
To expand further, they produce such items as Chicken Tikka Croissants, and Paneer Plaits. They also don’t do a bad job on traditional french pastries and cakes.
What mixed culture food places have dopers found, that are unexpected and or unusual?
I was in Glasgow recently, and there’s a restaurant there that does Haggis Pakora!
Do they sell escargot flavoured lassi?
Also, a wonderful fusion restaurant in Hong Kong, the Peak Café, does all sorts of mix-ups. I once had naan bread pizza there, which was wonderful, and a regular pizza with crispy aromatic duck, plum sauce and crispy Malaysian noodles.
Ooh, this has definite lunch potential. Where, exactly, is it?
Their website is www.hotbreadsca.com (Mods please delete the link if it is too much like advertising, I have no link to this place other than an enjoyment of their food)
They don’t have Escargot flavored Lassi, I might check out if the local French Vietnamese has Lassie flavored Escargot
French Vietnamese is a very good mix, and makes historical sense, I love the French Vietnamese stews which taste to me very cross cultural.
