I just thought it would be nice to see the numbers for those who are quarantined *uh, sick/died… crud I forget where/what I was thinking of but it was a thread I just read… 45 minutes ago? pretty much because we (well, not me, I’m an apple) can step back and not be in the mainstream of life.

The latest news for NA Country:

“Experts say Native Americans have a higher vaccination rate than any other major racial or ethnic group.”

I know my Band has pushed getting vaxxed on the Rez and in the Urban Area (Twin Cities Minnesota) to the point of rides, incentives but I have not yet seen disentives.

Here in the USA we Natives seem to run to die for a good reason (highest amount to join to fight vs our percentage of actual citizens from… shrug 1776?).

But we also are smart enough to realize the diet we live on is a reason to get vaxxed. High fructose and wheat…

What does this mean exactly? Co-morbidities like obesity and diabetes lead to worse outcomes but doesn’t excuse anyone else from the need to get vaxed. You need to get vaxed because there is a pandemic.

And the need is even more urgent if you’re high risk. That’s why the vaccine was offered to high risk folks before it was offered to ordinary risk folks.
