Two things strike me as I return to this thread:

1. I realized why the idealized product packaging picture was so funny. It looks exactly like a lamely posed yearbook picture with the subject wearing some excrutiatingly embarrassing get-up.

2. I can’t believe nobody used my blatantly setup closing straight-line.

I thought it would be fun if my cat looked like a magical unicorn of medieval lore. Not so fun is that he has taken this unicorn mythology a bit too seriously around my girlfriend. Lately, whenever she approaches or tries to pet him, he darts off wildly in a rage. “Only a maiden pure may tame the unicorn!” he says. Jackass.

Something inflatable attached to a cat is not likely to last 5 minutes. I’m not sure that $1 a minute is worth the entertainment and potential retaliation from the cat while you are sleeping.

I once dressed one of my cats in a pumpkin costume for Halloween. That night some cat left a hairball right where my feet land when I get up. Coincidence? I think not.
