I don’t know if this is the forum I am supposed to be posting this message, but I need to know.
I have been looking everywhere for someone that knows anything about the tribe Wintun. I am part of that tribe, but was not raised around them and know next to nothing abou them. If anyone knows something please, please tell me.

Also search google with “wintu”, the northern branch of the wintun. That’ll give you over 5000 hits.
I am greatful that you both looked the wintun tribe up, but what I really wanted was someone who knew of them personally. Or perhaps knew a fellow wintun indian. I have been all through the net and it has some good things, but I would really rather talk with another wintun indian in person or through email.
