Inkjet Cartridge Refills

Anybody use them? If so, how did you like them? I need to replace my cartridge, and thought I’d ask about the refills before I shelled out the bucks for a new one.

Thanks in advance,

Andyman

They work great. At some stores you have to ask. I think Office Depot has its own brand.

Notice that some of the cartidges, like for HP are identical for different model numbers, except for the capacity. The same replacement kit works for all of them by the same manufacturer.

They come in colors, too, although I’ve never tried that, but it’s a lot cheaper.

I have a Canon bubblejet printer and the printer cartridge refill works great for the black ink. But when we refilled the color cartridge, I refilled the colors in the wrong holes and now we have an orange color cartridge :stuck_out_tongue: So be careful with those color refills.

OOH OOH!! Good thread! I’ve been wondering the same.

I have a Lexmark 3200 and tried to refill the black cartridge type 12A1970, I worked for about 10 pages then I started to get lines across all the type. Cleaning the jets did not help or printing about 50 pages, finally I had to give up and buy a new one so my experience with the universal refill kit has been a failure. I am still have to try with the color cartridge.

OK, so that’s 2 for and 1 against so far. I think I may pick up a kit today. If so I’ll post my results.

I wonder why this one gets asked a lot? Anyway, try image-control.com you can get a huge amount for $20 & they have instructions on the site, etc. Way cheaper than OD.

I have used the refill system on my old Canon. It worked great, although I am told that Canon is the easiest manufacturer.

That printer is dead now, and we have an Epson.

This site sells cartridges REAL CHEAP.

I haven’t ordered yet, though, so I can’t say if they are any good or not.
