I just finished reading Babylon by Bus and in it, Ray LeMoine makes several references to the institutional looting of Iraq by foreign companies. One of the CPA orders allows foreign investment in Iraq, free of any Iraqi taxes. LeMoine points out that that allows a foreign company to buy and liquidate any Iraqi assets it wants and implies that it is happening systematically, but he doesn’t list any specific examples. Does anyone here know of any?
