Instructions by committee?

Bruce Acrylic Filler is intended to fill small cracks left in pre-finished hardwood floors installed by Do-It-Yourselfers. Instructions on the back of the tube read:
“Application: Squeeze filler into area and smooth with fingers or damp cloth.”
About one inch below this on the tube is:
“WARNING: EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT! Avoid contact with skin and clothing. May be harmful if absorbed through skin.”

Does anyone else see a problem with this?

When spreading things with one’s finger it is reccomended that you wear a latex glove.

No, they clearly did not recommend that.
I suppose you mean they should have, and you think an intelligent person would wear gloves to keep the goo off their hands, anyhow.
