Nothing fancy, I’m just glad I can still do this on occasion between holding babies etc.
It’s a chipper jingle that turns just a little bit strange by the end (but just a little).

I like it!
Nice!
I have been wondering about some kind of program to input music to a staff, with up to 4 or 5 different parts and have it play back. Any info you could relate?
If you mean having multiple staffs with up to two voices on each staff, noteflight.com seems to work pretty well.
If you mean having 4 or 5 different parts on a single staff, I don’t know enough to say anything useful. Sorry!
It’s really good.
And so now what?
Are you planning on putting it up for sale, so to speak? I could definitely see the tune working in a commercial or as some part of a movie soundtrack.
Do tell.
No, it’s just for funsies. The things I write–while I like them and think they have interesting ideas in them–reach nowhere near the sophistication and professionalism needed for commercial use. In a universe somewhat near to this one, I finished the composition program I started as a freshman in college and actually did something with this stuff, but that is not this universe.
Moved MPSIMS --> Cafe Society.
If you are a geeky programmer type, then Lilypondwill work. It produces midi output and pdf output in the highest quality. There is Denemo, which is a an easier way to input Lilypond code… I haven’t tried it yet so not sure how facile/reliable it is.
