Woodrow Wilson was a racist and a bigot who undid 40+ years of federal desegregation to suck up to the south and satisfy his own white supremacist tendencies. He also effectively repealed the Bill of Rights during America’s stint in WWI and carried out a series of anti-communist policies so extreme that he set the cause of worker’s rights in America back by 20-something years. His crowning failure must be his idiocy in relinquishing control of Congress and the Senate, thus dooming his (albeit ridiculousy idealistic) 14-points plan and thus leaving Germany under th crushing weight of the treaty of Versailles.
Lets not go into his promoting “national self-determination” for countries inhabited by white Europeans and at the same time re-establishing the U.S. empire in South America, dooming Nicaragua to a 20th century without effective self-governance and relinquishing African and Middle-Eastern nations that had fought WITH the Triple Entente in WWI to another 20+ years of explotiation under British and French “supervision”.
