I’m running Internet Explorer 5.5, and I noticed there is a folder inside the Temporary Internet Files folder called Content.IE5. If you look in that folder using Explorer, it looks the same as Temporary Internet Files. But if you use the Find tool and search for all files in that folder you see whats really in there. It looks (to me anyway) like the same kind of stuff found in Temporary Internet Files. What is the purpose of this folder? Why are it’s contents only viewable with the Find tool? Why don’t those files get deleted when I delete Temporary Internet files in the Internet options window in IE? And finally, is it safe to delete them?
