Heh: [Imgur] [Imgur] In his defense, he does seem to be pretty stupid. Thinking that “Black/African American” included people just born in Africa could have been an honest mistake for him. Though maybe he could have asked his dad, who is a professor of African studies at Columbia.

No one would think it was a nothingburger or make excuses if a white Ugandan identified as African American to try to get a boost in a college application.
