Interstitial Fluid.

Has interstitial fluid been known to accumulate in random, specific areas of people’s bodies?

I’m not a doctor, and have no experience in this area, but it seems to me that cysts are pretty much that–accumulation of body fluids in random areas of the body.

Yep. My sister had a cyst on her adrenal gland/kidney that was about the size of a baby’s head. They drained it and the contents were just that - regular body fluid.

Not sure how the heck it got there, though.

Maybe I should have said regions, such as stomach, neck, ect. A doctor perusing a cadaver notices that there is an unusual amount of regular interstitial fluid accumulated in its stomach…
