Notice the padlock on the container. Does anyone know what “oily solids” go for on the (black) market?
Locks aren’t always used solely to prevent theft.
True. It could be to prevent children (at this train station) from taking a dip in the “oily solids.”
Or it could be to prevent vandals from using the “oily solids” to vandalize something. If I were a vandal, it’d be at the top of my list.
Or, it could be to keep the “oily solids” from escaping their confinement!
You’re all wrong. It’s clearly the new hiding place of the Ark of the Covenant.
Heh. More surprising to me than the theft though is why people are so concerned about it. They were just going to get rid of it anyway, and it’s not like the actual stores are being broken into. It’s kind of like complaining that kids are stealing bottles out of your garbage to get the 5 cent deposit.
You don’t want some vandal leaving the cover open, and the oily solids become oily liquids.
Dammit. Now they have to find another ‘undisclosed location’ for Cheney.
Say it with me people. The idea of an undisclosed location is that it is undisclosed.
Sheez.
No, I wonder if it’s an ALIEN MONSTER trapped inside, tentacles writhing, trying to get out and eat us all and take over the world.
What’s that you say? Too much imagination? I have been accused of that before.
I take it you didn’t read the article:
