Is there in American political media an IOKIADDI rule? This was suggested in another thread, and I thought it deserved exploring further…

What is the best example out there of the media granting Democrats a pass for egregregious offenses/failures, for which it would hold Republican counterparts to a much higher standard?

The media is strongly pro-Republican.
