Ipad 1 owners: are you upgrading to Ipad 2?

If you don’t have one, you’ll never know.

No it wasn’t; it was a rumor based on speculation from a journalistabout what schedule Apple might want to align with in the future. No Apple employees were harmed in the making of this rumor.

I do have one. I’m saying that after 6 months of using it, I’m not sure that it was worth the $700. I’m certainly not going to spend another $700 just for 99% of the same functionality at a slightly reduced weight plus a cameras that I might use 3 or 4 times.

The biggest benefit I see about the iPad 2 coming out is that it will mean the iPad 1 showing up on Craigslist and clearance sellers at deep discounts.

Ah…well…there ya go.

I can’t see spending $700+ for an iPad…I started out with the 1st gen iPhone and was always bumping my head on the storage limits…replaced it with a 32Gb 3GS and it’s ALWAYS got 4-8 Gb free. With all the streaming stuff coming out (netflix, Pandora, the apple Home Sharing features) I’m planning on getting the bare minimum and forcing myself to be happy with it (easy to do, considering I’ll have my phone with all my music, and it’s acting as a tether, meaning I don’t need a 3G iPad)
