I’ve googled. I’ve cleared the Safari cache, which sucked, I lost a lot of web pages, but whatever.
Any other ideas? Or just restore the phone?
I did Tech support for a cellular company a few years ago, and one of the things I found (that you haven’t mentioned yet) is that they were filling up a lot of ‘other’ space with old text messages (especially MMS). Do you have your messages set as saved forever? One Year? Or the 30 day option? If at the forever, I’d drop to the one year or if you need to keep certain threads, I’d curate them hard.
Otherwise - I’ll be straight with you, the biggest issue on iPhones is their lack of storage, they’re always running short, and aren’t normally expandable. I won’t suggest you upgrade, but a full restore is never a bad idea (I do one once a year on general principles). The other nice thing about a restore, is that it normally forces me to go through and clear out stuff I have on the phone but never look at - old apps, pics, etc.
