30 GB Zune has been out since Zune launch. They are not relaunching a new 30GB Zune.

Yup. Brain cramp, here. I meant the 80GB Zune in November.

And as usual, I am the last one to catch on. Looking at CNET reviews, it seems that any player over 16GB is a hard drive? And those up to 16GB are flash memory? I can only assume that more memory is either too expensive or too expansive once past 16GB. It would seem to my non-technical knowlege that flash memory be lighter, faster and would take less battery power than a hard drive. Is that correct, and are there other considerations?

That’s pretty much correct, plus unlike a hard disk, flash memory contains no moving parts, so it’s more durable in terms of surviving falls and such.
