I actually really like iTunes, but you’re darn right it’s bloatware. The download is now 57 MB, which is absolutely ridiculous. And while I’m rolling, why the hell isn’t the catalog on the music store DRM free yet? Didn’t Apple start the whole push away from DRM in the first place? I buy almost everything on Amazon now because somehow their library is 100% DRM free. Their downloader tosses songs right in iTunes too.
