For a recent occasion my wife bought a iRobot Roomba 800 for her amusement and as a hint to me to clean my area more often.
The silly thing scurried around the house doing it’s thing for several days. Then it decided to devote most of it’s time and attention too one quarter of one room.
Is there some way to ‘reboot’ the thing so it will venture further into the house as it did in the beginning?
Is “clean my area” a euphimism?
Hmm, can you describe the problem a bit more? Does the Roomba make small circles in the quarter of the room? Is it possible you’ve inadvertently set it to “spot clean” mode? Have you moved any furniture or rugs lately which might be blocking its path? Here’s the manual for the 800 model: http://global.irobot.com/~/media/Files/Support/Home/Roomba/800/iRobot-Roomba-800-Manual.pdf
Thanks. She had moved two La-z-boys and an end table about 6 inches. So little I didn’t notice but the robot did.
