Sorry dramatic title but dull question
why is it so much easier to iron a crease into a shirt than iron it out (slight wrinkle as you pull the iron back run over it and its set in the shirt for life) there must be some scientific reason for this if not “well the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket”
Actually, the scientific principle that the world is going to Hell in a handbasket is relevant here. That’s basically just a restatement of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which states that any system, on its own, will tend towards a state that’s harder to describe fully.
thanks but that does not really help to answer the question why does it take 1 swipe of an iron to create a crease but multiple sweeps to remove it.
However on a positive note i now know everything is going to end in entropy with everything at the same energy level.whoop
get a mangle and then master it. they don’t go in reverse.
it might be that dryer wrinkles can be flattened easier than a crease you just ironed in; mild heat and mild force as opposed to high heat and high force.
Ta! will do end of post
