Al-Jazeera is my go-to station when there’s nothing good on BBC America or NHKWorld. They are truly a quite balanced, straightforward, professional news network.
I don’t know about Al Jazeera outside of AJ - America, but from what I’ve seen there, their reporting is very objective. It surprised me.
If AJ-America and Faux News contradict each other on a fact, trust Al Jazeera America.
(I would still take any reporting they do on Israel with a grain of salt. It’s going to take some years more experience before I trust them on that topic.)
Unlike our western sources which regularly hold Israel to account and devote as much coverage to a Palestinian death as an Israeli one.
