Not much of a mention at all, and not a lot of character development there, but further research reveals what Kyla says…Amalek is the catch-all for the historic enemies of the Jews.

And, yes, while the biblical reference to Amalek is as noted above, the rabbinic interpretation translates that all enemies who try to destroy the Jews are descendents of Amalek – from Haman to Hitler.
