Or does one merely have to appear of European descent and only those of questionable appearance must opt for a DNA test? Does Sicilian, Maltese, Greek, Slav, etc, count as European? Which takes precedence in determining “whiteness” - appearance or DNA? What if someone doesn’t appear “white”, but a DNA test proves they have European ancestry?

Why don’t you ask a Jew how Israel determines who is Jewish and therefore eligible to immigrate?

Why don’t you ask the federal government how they determine who is White and therefore ineligible for preferences under “minority contracting” affirmative action?

The social constructs of race don’t have to make sense, or be consistent.

I can confirm that the idea that ethnic Jews are “not white” has long standing among those who believe that race is a significant biological reality. WS said at one point here that white people were simply those of European descent, but that’s more ‘generous’ than many of his erstwhile allies would be. Plenty of Europeans and European-Americans have been excluded from the imaginary fold of whiteness.

Also, how are you defining 100% Nordic?

As I mentioned above, probabilistically, EVERYBODY has a non-European ancestor from 2000-3000 years ago and likely a much more recent non-European ancestor.

As such, 100% Nordic apparently means “cannot identify a non-Nordic ancestor more recently than the last 3 generations”. I could be wrong, but you’re not giving me anything to work with here.

Here’s a tip on debate (or really any logical progression): you have to start from your definitions. Shaky definitions = illogical conclusions.

You tell us what YOU mean by white since it doesn’t appear to match what we mean (or at least it doesn’t match what I mean), and then try to argue your point.

I would be thrilled if Jews identified as White. They are, I believe mostly genetically European, and they look White to me.

Genocide Watch’s 2012 global watch list. South Africa is not on it, nor is it mentioned in their report. Which doesn’t mean everything is great in that country, but it suggests that they don’t see genocide against any particular demographic group in that country as an urgent problem. In fact I’m pretty sure all the countries on the list would fail to meet your definition of “white nation” (assuming you have one and just haven’t gotten around to posting it even though lots of people have asked for it). The full list is Myanmar, Syria, China, Sudan, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Iran, DR Congo, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Uganda, North Korea, Guatemala, and Uzbekistan. Now let’s hear some more sadness about white people getting wiped out.

I don’t care if you are going to “let it go” or not. It is a red herring that has nothing whatsoever to do with the charge of White genocide.

First of all, White genocide is not just a racial issue, but an ethnic issue.

Greeks are very clearly on the verge of extinction after centuries of warfare against them by Turks, including extermination by the millions.

They were run out of their Anatolian homeland, and now they are being told they must turn what remains of Greece over to foreigners and if they refuse they are Nazis.

There is no honest work for these smuggled boat people and so they prey on native Greeks, often driving them out of the country in search of peace and a way to make a living.

There is no way this is not genocide.

But you don’t care, because you are not trying to have a logical discussion, you are just trying to change the subject because you don’t want to deal wiith the truth about White genocide.

Sure. I am in no way supporting any element of his argument, which I find every bit as contemptible and ridiculous as everyone else does. I just note that this one particular idea, that ethnic Jews are not white, has fairly wide distribution–more so than most of his material, IME.
