Is anyone planning to switch their support from Hillary to Donald over the emails?

Already replied to, IMHO Comey did talk like you said early, but the hearing showed that he should not had put it as harsh as he did early.

I’m not going just for a “possible” that still does not make a case, but for what the Republicans were claiming; that the European Hacker had done so. That was wrong.

Partially agree, thing is that to make it as important as the Republicans claimed we should be talking about information that would had been transmited in the public system at the State Department. The few emais that had an issue should not had been there, but the point is that not even the hackers came with those emails, and there is good reason to think that in the end they were not useful to the enemy.

And of course it is clear that the more secure area would not had been used for her personal e-mail but the public one that we should assume it was hacked too if we want to use that standard that if something is possible that then it did happen. AFAICU the effort was anyhow to not sent to Clinton messages made only for the secure areas. The results then would had been the same with the difference that less risk was involved (?) at the State Department. Not good for the Clinton server, but not gross negligence or bad intentions there.

Can you provide me a primary source for this info? Not that I doubt you, but I am interested in seeing the actual requirement.

I’m confused. Why are you guys talking like this was about her private emails? There was 30 000 work related emails and that’s the focus of the investigation. If Clinton had just used her private server for forwarding Bill her joke-of-the-day then no one would be talking about it.

Yeah, my post was badly worded. I’d retract it if I could.

Regardless,* is* there a defined standard/set of regulations/etc, for personal email accounts and cabinet members? Are they required not to have one, use a commercial account, use official govt email, other?

I tried looking this up but G-fu is weak.

The right has been screaming “WOLF!!” about all things Clinton for so many years, I probably wouldn’t take it seriously if an actual Clinton wolf was right here in my living room dancing with my sister.

And I’m not even mildly enthusiastic about either of them.

Compared to the annoying orange man, virtually any Democrat looks like a paragon of virtue and competence.
