Is Blazing Saddles the funniest movie ever made?

What, no Police Academys?

“You should stop that, sir. You could go blind!”

No Scary Movies?

“Very 70s!”

But yeah, Blazing Saddles is the funniest. Robin Hood: Men in Tights had some great moments, too:

Banquet guest: "How do we know you’re the real Robin Hood?
Robin Hood: “Because, unlike some Robin Hoods, I can speak with a British accent!”

Lotta greats here. Just popping in to put my vote in for This is Spinal Tap. I think the songs, with their near perfect skewering of heavy metal lyrics and music, are what put it on the top of the heap.
“Nobody knows who they were, or what they were doing…”
“Big bottom drive me out of my mind,
How can I leave this behind?”

You’re sweet, but you’re just four feet
And you still got your baby teeth
You’re too young and I’m too well-hung
But tonight I’m gonna rock ya …

Ooops, I forgot the best line from Stonehenge:
“Hundreds of years before the dawn of history …”

Yep, we’re stretching back to the beginning of time, hundreds of years before the dawn of history. Just the insignificance of mere centuries in that context. How about “Not long before man learned to write …” Cracked me up anyway, even if that joke was upstaged by midgets dwarfing the menhir.

“I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf!”

 :smack:
