You mean like the US Nationals Firefighter Challenge? Or real fires where winning can make the difference between life and death? I prefer they only have to do it as a sport
I wasn’t attempting to provide an all inclusive definition of sport there, only stating that race car driving is more physically demanding than many people realize. And physical activity alone isn’t enough to determine whether somethign should be a sport. If I shovel a ton of dirt while building a raised garden for my mother I’ve certainly engaged in physical activity but it isn’t a sport. But if I add a competitive angle to the activity then it could be a sport.
