Bush’s lead in Ohio is within the margin of error, and approval/disapproval numbers now stand at 50/49, with Kerry leading Bush amongst independents. This is a state very much “in play.”
Bush leads by 1 point, which means that the state is a tie at present. Bush’s job approval numbers dropped slightly, but again, not in a way that indicates a trend. This state could go either way.

Nationally, Bush and Kerry continue to be tied with 45% of the vote amongst likely voters in the Rasmussen tracking poll.
Don’t forget that Republicans see the world in comic book black & white. If Bush leads by 2 votes, the state is HIS.

Sam, the website doesn’t show signs of being particularly reliable. It is not uncommon, however, for very reliable journalists to use anonymous sources.
The news item itself says:
I have always taken “off the record” to mean that the information shared could be used to verify other information or lead to a source, but not actually published. I’ve thought that that is different from “under condition of anonymity.” Am I mistaken?
A SallyStar snippet
“…and, unless your in coma from watching Kerry speeches, we are well on our way to winning democracy and freedom for the people in Iraq and Afghanistan.”
Things aren’t going all that well in Iraq, Sal.
