Is doorhinge dumber than a doorknob?

Up to nine, if mounting hardware is included.

Now in the GD thread he is doubling down by claiming that we are resorting to a strawman, claiming that he never really said that “Greenland still ain’t the Arctic.” Everyone can go to the previous page and see that he claimed that right after I said that the danger was from the ice melt over land that is in the Arctic.

Not a door or a hinge, but more like a door nail.

For some reason, I prefer “door knockers” to “door nails”. Can’t imagine why…

When I see him post, “knockers” is the last thing that comes to mind.

No one is that stupid. He’s a troll.

His pathetic face saving attempt now is to claim now that **we **are the ones saying that Greenland is the arctic. :smack:

The tons of straw he is generating could feed all the cattle in the world for years.

I’m confused… I just looked at a map, and it looks like most of Greenland is inside the Arctic Circle. Parts of it are outside, but some 2/3 or 3/4 in inside.

Why wouldn’t we claim this…and why shouldn’t he say we claim this?

I’m gonna go look at the penguins…

Did he really not understand that melting sea ice doesn’t raise sea level?? :dubious: :smack: At first I figured he was trying for some kind of Gotcha!

FXMaster, for example, probably does have a junior-high-school level understanding of climatology but plays coy hoping he can make some sophomoric sneer at a Freshman-level comment.

But whether at junior-high level (FXMaster) or 3rd-grade level (doorhinge) what astounds me is that the more ignorant a person is, the more confident he is to challenge experts. One wonders what sort of cognitive dissonance is at work. Do they think “All Newton needed was an apple. Maybe one will fall on my head too!” :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s no wonder you’re confused, since doorhinge has been raising stupidity to an entirely new level. To cover his own mistake, he’s pretending he thinks other posters claimed that Greenland makes up the entire Arctic. Of course, this makes him look even stupider, but he’s too stupid to realize this.

Dunning-Kruger Overdrive!

He is back tripling down expecting that his straw man will not be noticed by claiming that we are the ones doing the straw man. Childish tactician that he is, he is failing.

For someone like me that has problems with grammar as English is my second language it is really underwhelming to find a “native” that does not know the difference between a verb like “is” and a preposition like “in”.

GAY HOMER SIMPSON: Mmmmm . . . Mounting hardware . . .

I don’t know if one doorknob is dumber than one doorhinge, but a bag of doorknobs has to be dumber than just about anything else on the planet.

Congress being the exception.

One doorknob has a useful purpose. A bag of doorknobs has none, except perhaps as a blunt instrument with which to bash someone’s head in. Congress is bicameral, which is a fancy word which means a bowl of shit looking at itself in the mirror.

Bumping this one as the roasted one shows to everyone that he still has no clue.

Ah yes, leave to doorhinge to call attention to him still having learned nothing, he also has to come now to imagine what a good neo nazi must not know. Seems that he has plenty of knowledge on that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Once again, doorhinge you are really dumb for claiming that others did not know where Greenland was, we knew already that it was not the whole arctic. Like Colibri said you only made your intelligence look worse. It is you the one with the idiot ball on that subject and this new one too.

Do I want to even know how this issue came up in a thread titled “Should the United Negro College Fund turn down the gift from the Koch brothers?”

It was because it was pointed out that in academia the universities are presured then to make lessons or museums were the issue of global warming is minimized, that is because the Koch Brothers also fund climate change denial efforts.

IIRC I pointed out that I would not be so queasy on accepting that money as in other occasions the funding did get the brothers the opposite of what they expected. One just needs to be aware of the pressures the people with money can have over the universities they fund.

Is he also the guy who doesn’t know the difference between there, they’re, and their? Because that is annoying as shit.

They’re their now, no need to get all heated.

Now that I think of it, I can see five doorknobs from where I sit.

All of them are sitting quietly until they have a job to do.
So I think they’re smarter than doorhinge.
