I’ve heard that if you look at someone’s Facebook profile a
lot you will show up in there “People you may know” even
if you don’t share any friends. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true?

Actually, I think that’s not the case for my page.
Probably not. That happens with Linkedin though.
I think it is true, and has been true for several years. I had an old friend who one day showed up as a person I may know. We had no friends in common. That had happened about two or three times. That is just my experience.
I also think that is true, I have a acquaintance that we don’t care to friend each other, but once in a while she will show up in the friends you may know, so sometimes I click on it, then she I assume clicks on it on her end as I would show up on her’s, this process goes back and forth a few then we stop - perhaps a year later this repeats. I don’t have verification on her end, but assume that is what is happening.
