Basically they are probably guilty of child abuse, NM prosecutors argued that if released they were likely to commit terrorist acts, but didn’t provide much in the way of evidence. So the judge followed the law and let them out on monitored bail, causing a bunch of Fox fanatics to lose their shit and threaten the judge with death.

So, after 2103 posts, is it possible yet to conclude yes? They are awful and getting worse. Hannity supporting Q Anon is the pinnacle of irresponsibility and lack of integrity for me. That’s at Alex Jones level of bad. There’s simply no redemption possible for a network that would allow him to continue with his lies and propaganda. Let alone Tucker, Laura whatever her name is, and so on.

You have to bear in mind it’s a 6 year old thread. The OP is almost reasonable in 2012*, but now, with where FOX has been going since the birther thing and then the actual Trump presidency…if you don’t know how bad FOX is, you either haven’t seen it, or you hold terrible and ignorant views yourself. Every day they lie or misrepresent facts to try to foment hatred, bigotry and ignorance.

Yes, Fox News is that bad, as are other conservative outlets that deliberately distort the truth to fit a particular worldview. Kellyanne Conway uttered the infamous phrase “alternative facts,” but Fox News has been the alternative truth for millions of Americans who tune in to hear someone confirm their own biases.
Knock that shit off. ABC is conservative, Newscorp is not – they are some other thing, like demented reactionaries.
I’d like to check out Fox news to see what it’s like, but don’t know where to find it.

How they keep a straight face when they say these things is beyond me.
Fox just had a man and woman (I think his daughter) read off a list of the names of people killed on 9/11. That’s fine.
However, at the end, the man went on to use the dead as a reason to slam Democrats. Fucking using the defining moment of terrorism as a political prop. Unreal.
9/11 has turned into the Republican National Holiday. Attacked in a manner that GWB was warned about but ignored, used as an excuse to invade Iraq, and trotted out every year to remind us how Republicans hate Muslims. Pathetic.
Yeah, but we immediately caught the guy responsible and quickly subjugated the entire country where the Taliban was based.
That’s a pretty broad definition of “immediately”. And Afghanistan is every bit as ungovernable and unsafe as it was 17 years ago and will be 17 years from now.
