Anyway, you just keep on being Captain pedantic over there. The point is Trump doesn’t think as much as react. He says things without actually thinking. That was my point. I’m not the first person to observe this, and his Twitter feed is only one evidence of this.
And he’s right. This is straight-up white supremacist fearmongering. Fox News employs multiple people who are basically just white supremacists in their opinion sections, and this won’t change until it becomes prohibitively expensive for them to do so. I hear Sleeping Giants is trying to make that happen, and are very much worth supporting.
As I’ve said before, Carlson is basically Phil Hartmann’s Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, going on about how normal demographic change frightens him. The conclusion that people ought to be drawing from his diatribes is that he’s a whiny little coward,.
There’sa video out there detailing Carlson’s exact career path (and sudden opinion changes). He’s basically an incompetent liar who’s failed upwards and has found a niche by renouncing every principle and shred of journalistic integrity he’d weakly held before. His niche, now, of course, being the darling of the Tiki torch whites.
I read this post and notice that the link is greyed out: I’ve seen whatever this video is! So I click the link and sure enough, as the video loads and I realize what it is, I chuckle and think “ohhhhh yeah; I remember watching this but didn’t I stop before it finished?” And sure enough, I see the 42:30 timer and and say “yep”. I watched about half of it before and it was freaking hilarious, but just too long. I’ve actually posted comments in a few of his videos that they’re just too ddamned long sometimes. I’d rather have 3 good 7 minute videos than 1 occasionally good 20 minute video; YMMV.
Mr. Johnston does pack a shitload of information into this video, tho.
I like the guy. I like his schtick and I like his views on things. But it took me like 3 days and 5 sittings to watch that Shapiro video. And I do skip lots of others. I don’t need a 40 minute rant that repeats the top 8 things 75 times. I need an 8 minute rant that nails the 2 biggest things 5 times and all the lesser ones once or twice. Summing up a 1000 page novel in 800 pages isn’t really doing anyone any good IMO.

Unless he was using his seat on Fox and Friends to promote his alleged Ponzi scheme, I would not include him in this thread. I would limit submissions to this thread to actions by Fox News and Fox entertainment to twist news stories for political influence.
