Actually, that’s a great idea. West Virginia is already solid red; this would turn Virginia solid blue.
Maybe the states should be allowed to trade counties at will, like fantasy baseball teams.
Fox’s Geraldo Rivera doesn’t seem to remember Joe Biden’s seven terms as US Senator and two terms as US Vice President:
Too late! I’m sure it’s already canon to Trumpists that Biden has never won an election.
Can anyone develop a time line of Geraldo Rivera’s transformation from sensationalist hack with a liberal bent to Republican stooge? I remember his show back in the 90’s and then his broadcast of our troop movements during the desert storm, but it wasn’t until the last couple of years that I noticed him going full out Republican mouthpiece.
Fox host says America should use “the power of positive thinking” to beat coronavirus
“I ate Chinese food, and I didn’t get COVID-19! Positive thinking works!!”
I shouldn’t be, but nonetheless I remain amazed at the ability of bigoted idiots to make this into “All Chinese people and things have [del]cooties[/del] COVID-19”.
Not Fox-related, but locally a random Chinese person walking down the street was assaulted by someone demanding that he keep his filthy coronavirus out of our country (or words to that effect). Because apparently if you’re afraid that someone is infected, the best thing to do is to punch them in the face and get their blood all over you.
Keep eating the eggrolls, guys. You’re an inspiration to us all.
Trish Regan is insane (well, plays a crazy person on television).
I almost want to post that on Facebook, but I can’t think of a title…
Coronavirus Impeachment Scam!!!
Ipso Facto Nutso is more like it.
There’s nothing wrong with Fox News online, if you like the Daily Mail served with a heapin’ helpin’ of right-wing crazy sauce.
Go to Fox News’ website and look at the Coronavirus coverage. Then look at the comments and how many people are claiming this is nothing, and that all the hype is a media conspiracy to get Trump (which, therefore, must include the likes of the BBC in that conspiracy).
Much of the coverage by Fox itself seems to select for the “no big deal/under control” stories.
So yeah, this thing may be overblown. Or not- the truth is we don’t know for certain. But Fox certainly isn’t helping.
For those who have the stomach to look, how is FOX covering this today? Still in complete denial and worshiping at the altar of the Doofus-in-Chief? Any reality seeping in?
It seems that was too cray-cray even for Faux Noise:
Fox Business Puts Trish Regan On Hiatus After ‘Coronavirus Impeachment Scam’ Monologue
Good to know even they have a limit. I wasn’t sure they did…
I suspect their limit is the realization by the network’s (mostly elderly) bigwigs that if they personally get the virus as a result of their viewers refusing to take anti-contagion measures, even the ability to buy their way to the head of the line for top of the line medical care might not save them.
It goes to legal liability and the need to protect the employees and financial viability of the larger Fox organization. Will be extremely difficult to fight off the lawsuits brought about just by your own employees if you allow a division of your company to lie about Captain Trumps while your HR department is shouting “Fire!”
No fucking joke.
