Is General Grevious a Dug? (Sebulba's species)

You know, Sebulba the baddie that Anakin raced against in TPM? I have pros and cons to this theory:

Pros: overall body configuration very similar. Head and neck structure similar. Quadradextrous limbs.

Cons: Grevious is much larger than Sebulba. Sebulba walked consistantly on his “hands” rather than switching.

So whaddya think?

Grievous. :smack:

He could be anything, but mostly he’s a cyborg. You could put extra arms on a human and train him how to use them.

No, because that’s just Grievous’s cyborg body. All that’s left are a brain and maybe some internal organs in some kind of support system.

That’s right.

He’s “more machine than man.”

My thought is that he’s an alien of nondeterminate species because of the eyes.

I hope he is.

I dig dug.

From Labrynth of Evil, I THINK his species is called Kaleesh, but it’s been a while since I read it, so I could be mistaken. But no, I think we can safely say he’s not a Dug.

Here’s what I can find online:
http://www.generalgrievous.net/ (!)

I have no idea where this info. came from; all other web references to “Omix-patra” seem to derive from this site.
And:

http://www.theforce.net/comics/darkhorxxse/cp_generalgrievous1.asp

That’s from a Dark Horse comic book (General Grievous #1), so the “Kalee” part appears to be pretty close to canon.

Man, I hate it when somebody steals the joke I was so proud of and racing to post. :frowning:

Heh. Vader doesn’t need extra arms to kill Jedi though.

Who kills more Jedi, Grevious or Vader?

In Ep 3, we know Grievous has killed at least 4 Jedis, because he has at least that many lightsabers. We never see Anakin slay any Jedi besides younglings/jr. padewans. The clone troopers take care of the rest.

I think he’s a dude. From the databank, the only information is that he’s male, and for aliens the option “species” is offered, even if it is unknown (as is the case with Yoda). You can’t derive from there that he’s human, but I have a bad feeling about this… I mean, I have a feeling he has the same health care plan as Robocop.
