Hmmm…that’s interesting. The Druidess has been asking what I’d like for my birthday coming up in a few weeks, and I’m pondering a new game vs returning to World of Kung-Fu Pandacraft.
One thing to keep in mind, and it is BIG - GW2 doesn’t require monthly payments.
There are few better values for your gaming dollar. I love WoW and enjoyed my time there. But it’s seven years old and the design is getting a bit dated. I suspect that Blizzard was already looking the mechanics more similar to GW2 in their new Titan MMO.
I can also say that I’ve been amazed by how many people, effects, and environments they managed to stack without once giving me slowdown.
The only qualifier on that is that I found if you were facing one of the toughest event enemies, but were a bit underlevelled or equipped, you may not be able to get gold when doing your best. You just couldn’t do enough damage, although you might be able to qualify in other ways (rezzing players, etc.)
Yeah, that is huge, especially right now. Definitely going to look into this game further. Thanks.
