Is it a male-dominated world? Why or why not?

What is a father-son couple, and is it legal?

Men with Alport syndrome are more than twice as likely to die of kidney disease than women so there’s that. We also have trouble peeing with an erection. If this were truly a male-dominated world then how could that be

And even for power tools and weapons, I’d like to see a good-looking woman using them.

I see. Out of curiousity, how do feel about how women look?

Fine
More sons hanging with their days
Did I clarify that?
There is also life expectancies, the court system is still very biased against men[especially against black men] and then there is also selective service still.
See, we got female priviledges as well😀

Like what exactly are you asking? Aesthetically or just fashion-wise?

You do understand why this happened, right?

Lol, that edit button sure likes to go away

No lol.

No, I get it–you clarified it from “More sons hanging with their sons” to “More sons hanging with their days.”

Girl Scouts is a completely different program. There are almost no parallels between what the two programs offer. One of my best female friends would have tremendously enjoyed what BSA had to offer and found GSA almost entirely worthless. There is a gender divide there that does not belong there. Plenty of girls would benefit from what is in the Boy Scouts program (and their presence might tone down the boys assholeishness), and it really makes no sense to exclude them based on outmoded gender-role models.

Facepalm
I am very forgetful and illusuional.
But, fathers hanging out with their sons is obviously what I was trying to infer.

I think we could balance out our gender equality better if we just equally expected from both genders I would argue some mysogny exists because some men think society expects so much from us.

Well whatever. What they choose to wear, make up, their facial expressions or whatever.

Eta: Or aesthetics, like the shape of their lips, hips or something.

I think women like to look pretty soft and very artistic with their clothes. As far aesthetics go, I guess is a mixed bag. Facial expressions are all over the place as well.
But with a lot of variety in types of women these days is hard now to keep a simple interpretation.

Well for astethrics I guess I could say they win by lips, faces and hips. There’s no denying that.

So there this big variety in types but you give the impression that you think they all think alike.

I mean emotions are all over the place, you get the lesbian butches, you get the ones who are incredibly sexually conservative, you get the ones that get called sluts, etc etc.

Do girls in between those two extremes exist?

Definitely lol.

Depends how you look at things. When I look at history I see an endless parade of wives/mothers/sisters/daughters handing their menfolk a sword and telling them to go off to war to steal something nice.

Your point of view may vary.

Well, there you have it. Women have the power to make men less assholey. How could men have dominion when nothing more than the mere presence of the fairer sex makes them alter their behavior.

I’m obviously kidding, but still, women hold a great deal of power over men simply by virtue (heh) of being women. Most men instinctively seek to please women, to protect and care for them, etc. Merely a smile can make one’s day. Men have lost families, fortunes, careers, and on some occasions even gone to war over or because of women.

So women enjoy a great many benefits as they go through life merely because men are willing to do so many things for them, and/or to give up so many things for them.

It’s true that men have dominated in the workplace over the centuries, but that wasn’t because of some dastardly desire to ‘keep women down’. It was because of the view that someone had to take care of the kids and household while someone else had to put in the labor necessary to pay for that household and to feed that family. Since most money-making activity throughout history relied upon the brawn of men, it fell to men to earn everyone’s keep. And due to their generally nurturing nature, it fell to women to care for the kids and take care of the home.

There were pros and cons to this arrangement for both sides. Women could feel stifled or taken advantage of because their workday lasted pretty much the whole day and because in their money-earning capacity, men generally were the ones who called the shots in their families’ household. Many men, on the other hand, were forced to slave away their days in jobs that they found stifling and unfulfilling and not all that rewarding financially (the term for this was “living lives of quiet desperation”), and they spent most of their adult lives this way so that their wives and children could be provided for.

So in one sense it has sucked to be everyone. But in another sense it’s great to have families and homes and the emotional rewards and satisfactions that come from them. Trouble is, most of what we hear from society’s agitators nowadays is one-sided. So one side is portrayed as having it all and the other side is portrayed as being taken advantage of and treated poorly.

Thus we wind up questioning who has dominion over the other rather than acknowledging that there are positives and negatives for both sides and there is no clear answer.
