Is it better to get laid or laid off?

laid off a job
vs
laid in bed

Sex is definitely better than getting fired.

Depends on the severance package.

Do you mean “Is it worth getting laid-off if you got laid?”

Yeah, but after sex I still have to go to work in the morning.

What if that is your job?

Paradox!

This is a true question for the ages but I would argue that it is a false dichotomy. Speaking as a rare person that has been both laid and laid off, I will choose the latter. The key is to to take that money straight to Vegas or even a decent Rhode Island strip club, get a high-end ‘escort’ or three and have the time of your life.

If you don’t spend it all in one place, you end up with the true trifecta: no job, some money and multiple women. There is no downside (until the next round of bills rolls around).

I think I’m rarer in getting laid and never getting laid off. At least in Silicon Valley.
I choose laid, which is good since if most people got laid at the same rate they get laid off there would be horniness explosions all throughout the land.

Personally I’d rather be rich than stupid.

I don’t know but it’s better to get pissed off than pissed on.

It always depends on the package.

I’d rather have a small severance package than a huge severed package.

I’d rather run a math lab than a meth lab.

I’m voting for “get laid”.

And I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
