Actually I think this one might make some sense in China. Not the chocolate so much but high rates of lactose intolerance you’d have to be careful with milk in general. IIRC the trots is a symptom of lactose intolerance.
Funny as egg tofu is a very popular product in Japan. it is actually my next tofu project this weekend.
And onion and honey was a fairly common healthy food combination in the west. If you google it, you get a fair number of hits, ranging from asthma to hair loss to hypertension. If I remember correctly it was very popular as part of breakfast in ancient Egypt for purifying the blood.
I have a killer recipe for pickled onions that combines cider vinegar, a bit of dried or fresh mint and honey to pickle the raw sliced onions. Just macerate for 8-12 hours, takes the heat right out of the onion. Great for summer picnics.
