-1. I think “you need to expand your repertoire” is a stupid argument, frequently trotted out by religious people who need ass-stickectomies (not saying this is what Arrendajo is - the people who I’ve heard saying this in real life all were, though).

If you think being “honest about your emotions” is a demonstration of respect, then you are wrong. It’s really, really not.
