Is it legal for a civillian to wear a jacket with the logo of a federal agency on it?

I have an old jacket that has a US Dept. of Fish and Wildlife patch on the right sleeve (looks similar to this one) and and a US flag patch on the left sleeve.

Is there any laws that forbid this jacket to be worn in public? Would it be considered “impersonating a federal employee” or whatever the legal term for such a thing is?

If you’re just wearing a jacket and not, say, trying to enforce fishing regulations or something, I think you’re fine. It looks like you’d have to both act like a federal employee specifically in order to get something.

I imagine if you were, say, hanging out in an airport dressed like a TSA agent, you may get some issues, but if you’re running around town with a Fish & Wildlife patch, I’m betting you’ll be just fine.

There’s a difference between a Logo and a Badge.
