Is it possible to link to pages within Word 2007?

For instance: Is it possible to make the entries in a table of contents at the beginning of a document clickable so that they direct you to other pages within that same document (preferably without having to open the document in anything other than Microsoft Word itself)?

Yes. You’d need to first place a “Bookmark” within a Word document for the link destination. I don’t remember how to place those without looking it up in Word help, but it’s not all that difficult to do.

The link itself (the clickable text) needs to become a Hyperlink (right-click or Ctrl-K). Hyperlinks can be within the document (based on bookmarks) or to other documents (even including bookmarks within other documents).

Thanks a bunch. Turns out headers fulfill the same role as bookmarks with regards to hyperlinking. Haven’t used Word in forever.
