Here to revive this one more time. Do you know if the lenses were glass or plastic? im looking to get rid of the mirror on some aviators

Buy new ones. It’s not a good process.

If you’re intent on sticking with the frames there are several companies that offer after-market lenses. I’ve had good luck getting decent quality replacements for out-of-production Ray Bans and Maui Jims.
