…Jesus is coming soon.
If you can’t test post, how can you ever learn to post? Oh, wait. Everyone knows how, since those little typing windows and little formatting icons are legion everywhere else. And most people posting a thread where Liberal is in attendance can be assured that nobody will read their test. Those threads have ten scattershot write-only posters for every actual reader. IMO
It’s like being a doctor. You’ve had your MD for 30 years, nice private practice with oodles of hot nurses. But you’re still practicing.
Practice is groovy, in a far out kind of way.

Now if I’d started an OP in this forum with the same title as Lib’s, my actual post would have said simply: “Let’s find out”.
eta: after having checked out posts #20-#23, their contents, posters and timestamps.
Er, wait, what?
I think Lib was calling for help, but couldn’t finish each post: …—… was what I think he was trying to post.
And we failed him! We didn’t support him in his time of need. But it’s OK: he got through to Jesus. (Jesus was a sailor, according to Leonard Cohen, so he knows morse code.)

For comparison:
And one more thing. At one point in time, I began to force all my own posts to be in Verdana font, like this one. But believe it or not, complaints about this practice arose. (I think I was even Pitted for it.) And so that’s when someone stepped in to offer the appropriate style sheet.
The first paragraph is in Verdana.
The second is in Trebuchet MS. [endquote]
Explicitly set to Trebuchet MS (above was the default font):

(I couldn’t use quote blocks, because it made everything italics). These three all look the same to me, and the same as in the preview of this message. So even careful fonting might not be working for everyone reading you. (I’m on Firefox 3.5.2.)
