According to this link, yes it’s the same person.
According to IMDB, they seem to be different people.
And to get this out of the way, yes she looks better as a brunette.

I think IMDB is right. There seem to be seven Jennifer Morrisons, and the actress is not the same person as the producer. And the New York Times has been known to do sloppy research in the past. Morrison’s (the actress’) biography in the NYT doesn’t mention any producer credits in her biography.
And while it is possible for an actor to also be a producer of his or her own show, I don’t see how an actor could find the time to produce a different show while filming another.
Well, even though she is a regular cast member and in the House credits, she doesn’t really appear much (or at all) in the recent episodes.
You do know she left (or was asked to leave) the show, don’t you? The same opening credits for House have been playing forever regardless of cast changes. I wonder when, or if, they’ll make a revised opening if she really is gone for good.
Did she, perhaps, leave to try her hand at producing/directing? I’m thinking she might have and is working on Glee. A lot of actors go into directing and producing as their career matures. But that’s not for sure…
Jennifer Morrison gave an interview here. She did not quit the show and she is still “technically a regular.” She says her exit is the result of a “creative decision” by the show’s producers. According to Morrison, the producers only work a couple of episodes ahead and haven’t made any definite plans about Cameron’s status. Executive producer David Shore is still working on where the character fits in and Morrison is unsure of her status. Technically, she hasn’t been fired. She’s sort of in limbo right now. but she definitely hasn’t quit, nor mentioned if she is working on “Glee”. So I still say it’s sloppy reporting on the New York Times’s part, and this particular Jennifer Morrison is in no way connected with “Glee.” I’d say she is still more connected with “House” at this point despite Cameron’s disappearance.
Hm, that’s odd. I look forward to her return to House though, I really enjoy her character and I think there’s a lot they can do with Chase/Cameron now. Plus she works really well with House.
So does she get paid the same rate for being available for each episode? Is this like being sent on paid vacation?
Yes, she is being paid her full salary for the season.

So you could call it a vacation. It also makes sure she is available to return when and if Cameron is written back into the series at some point this season.
She’ll have to do some fancy maneuvering, as EW is reporting that she’s going to Broadway to play Helen Keller’s mother in The Miracle Worker.
Even though this is a zombie, I’m going to bump this, since I found an answer to the question. Yes, Jennifer Morrison from House was involved with Glee, although not creatively. According to answers to questions posted to her on Twitter, Morrison found Glee, which was originally conceived as a movie, during its early draft, and brought it to the attention of Ryan Murphy, who along with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, developed it into a series. Although not involved with the show creatively, Morrison was given an associate producer’s credit for bringing Glee to the attention of the show’s production team.
