That guy is coming off like a creepy stalker. He kind of reminds me of the aid, who turned out to be gay, in that movie No Way Out. I’m starting to think Young was in love w/ Edwards and is now acting like a jilted lover.

I agree. Another thing, I watched the 20-20 episode on this last night. One thing that amazed me is that he asked his “friend”, Young, to claim the affair and the baby his. Young was married with children! How does a ma ask a anyone to do that. And the Youngs! How do you bring this woman into your family. What do you say to your kids. “Well, Daddy had this affair. And the nice woman is going to come live with us and we’re all going to have Christmas together in Aspen. Won’t that be FUN!!!” Those poor kids.
And I think the reason Edwards went to Haiti is because he thought it would give him some cover from this.
He is DONE. But I heartily support the Dems running him in any and all future elections.

I hate to admit it, but I also watched the 20-20 episode last night.
As sleazy as John Edwards is, the Young family is just as bad. They deserve each others company, and I hope no one buys their fucking book, so they can crawl back under the rock that they came from…
Frankly, I was amazed that he still had a career after the Kerry campaign. His debate against Dick Cheney revealed an inferior intellect and lack of depth that made me sigh with relief that Kerry had won the nomination in the first place. I never gave him a second thought in 2008, and all of the recent revelations only shove him a little further down in my estimation.
In short, I always thought he was an empty suit; he’s revealed himself to be an empty man.
He was actually a very skilled and effective trial lawyer, and there are no dummies of whom that may be said. He held his own against Dick Cheney in the 2004 debate but could’ve done much better, I’d agree.
Edwards career is over but Vitter hung around whore houses and liked to wear diapers. He is still in. I do not get it.

Yep, I watched Young on TV-it just gets slimier and slimier…how Edwards can go out in public amazes me.

It’s the National Enquirer, but they have been right about everything else, so I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that this was true. Doesn’t really matter if it is true or not, Edwards is definitely done.
As big of an asshole as John Edwards certainly is, I have heard enough credible sounding stories about Elizabeth Edwards’ personality to make it hard for me to feel very sorry for her much anymore…
(that said, NO ONE deserves to be beaten, under any circumstances)

I just read that the judge just ruled that ex-Edwards aide Andrew Young is in contempt, and now has to turn over the sex tape that allegedly shows Edwards and mistress Rielle Hunter eating each others feces, then washing it down with caffeine free Dr. Pepper X-treme.
