Is John Edwards Jimmy Carter's 3rd Cousin?

While watching the newsbite of an Edwards victory speech following a strong second place victory in a primary somewhere in America, Edwards’ face suddenly morphed into a younger Jimmy Carter.

Now I’m no one given to idle imagination and the similarities between the two are striking.

  1. Both are from the Atlantic south and their speech sounds the same. (to this Canadian anyway)

  2. Both have big teeth (Cheshire cat smiles)

  3. both have round baby faces

  4. both are democrats

  5. both seeking the presidency following a disputable war

  6. both considered long shots to becoming a potus in the beginning of their campaigns

  7. both received serious opposition from Mass. senators in their presidential campaigns

I’m sure if I worked at it long enough, I’ll find more.

What worries me is the sheer horror of a return to double digit inflation,interest rates, and double digit something else I can no longer remember.

Please do not support John Edwards. :eek:

I’m not buying it until you can produce some evidence that rabbits have it in for Edwards too!

I dunno about Edwards, but the big, fat, fiance guy is the guy that is blown away in the Hungry Man commercial.

I voted for Carter, really thought he could change things. He was really a nice guy, and should have finished last. :wink:
