Is Lotus Notes still awful?

A question: what’s the great email/calendaring/whatnot software that is used with any frequency in the corporate world, that makes Lotus Notes look so bad by comparison?

I’d been clear about OWA = Outlook Web Application in my first post in this thread, but I should have repeated that in my second post. Sorry about that.

Is the regular MS Outlook something that large employers are going to use for their email/calendaring/etc. application? I’ve never used it, but I’d gotten the impression that it was aimed at individual users.

Outlook is explicitly for companies. It works very well, although it has a few interface quirks I’m not fond of. Outlook Express (now replaced with Windows Mail) is the version for individual users.

OWA is the cloud-based lite version of Outlook.

OK, thanks for clarifying that.

I just remembered our nickname for it a few jobs ago: “Blowtus Goats.”

I use Outlook at home since it’s the only mail client which doesn’t freak out with an IMAP account. Windows Mail was nigh useless.
