Well, I don’t think he is the new Dallas/ Ft. Worth.
I would have thought you would ask if he is the best David Foster Wallace.
I haven’t read the book, but heard a lot about it when it came out. I don’t recall comparisons to DFW. Have you read it? What do you think?

Your threads tend to be short OPs asking who is the “best” at math, philosophy, etc.
Most folks will NOT know who “DFW” is simply by initials (see post #2 said in jest), let alone read the Marlon James book or know that, apparently he is being discussed as approaching his writing in a way that is similar to David Foster Wallace.
I am a huge DFW fan, and a reader who has heard of Marlon James and had no clue that he is being discussed in a way that is similar to DFW - only reference has been your OP.
If you are just looking for folks to respond with Yes or No answers, cool: No.
