I noticed an article on checking a microwave for leaks.
This:

I tried putting my cell phone in the microwave and then texting the phone from a computer.
It worked, the phone sure enough got the text.
I wasn’t able to try calling the phone due to logistical problems.

Should I take the microwave in for service?
Is the wikihow article full of crap?
