Is online shopping an economy booster or a hardship generator in the current stage of the pandemic?

Should be feel free, encouraged even, to be buying stuff online that is not essential? Or is doing so a disservice to the delivery chain and others who have to work on our orders and are unable to tell whether our orders are essential or not?

Really, the factual question is, do people who work in the delivery chain still say (as they were saying weeks ago) that their jobs amount to hardship under current conditions? Or has the situation changed so that the delivery industry now appreciates the business?
